The Eersterust Business Chamber and Consortium was founded by Mr. Bashan Jacobs in 2024. After many years of research, and being active in the community of Eersterust, Mr. Jacobs discovered that the Business community needed a platform/ vehicle for other stakeholders both locally and internationally to communicate with. Eersterust had numerous Business Forums and Chambers in the past, that did not effectively served the community. The organization and this platform, the first of its kind for the community, was established to give equal opportunity to all business owners, and to solve the challenge of local business services that are not easily found by the community. The changes required for the local economy of Eersterust to be revived and thrive, is a platform where the community and all businesses can benefit from. The Business Chamber's main objective is to stimulate personal and business growth, develop SMME's, and train entrepreneurs to solve problems in their industries that will lead to job creation.
